Vietnam's textiles & garment export business keeps growing
The Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP – Zero Export Tariff) will soon be signed, stimulating Vietnam's textile and garment export business. Vietnam's textile and garment export turnover in 2014 is expected to reach USD 24.5 billion, which represents an increase of 19% over 2013. As Vietnam’s local production cannot satisfy the huge garment export demand, the country needs to import lots of fabrics and garment accessories from overseas.
Biggest event since 1990s
The response to the expo has been very good, with over 98% of the spaces already reserved. Once again, the size of the expo will break the record of the previous year (2014). Although the organisers have added six temporary halls, many exhibitors are still waiting for space allocation.
