Vietnam’s government has signed and will sign many free trade agreements (FTAs) recently, attracted many foreign direct investment (FDI), investing more than $750 million in the first six months of 2017. Vinatex expected that, Vietnam’s garment & textile export will reach its’ target of USD 31 billion in 2017. The enterprises in Vietnam are investing in machines and technology to improve their productivity and reduce costs.
North Vietnam & Hanoi: The fastest growing production region in Vietnam
Because of the government’s favorable policies, in addition to lower wages and production costs in the North when compared to Hochiminh City and surroundings, many local and international companies have recently moved their textile and garment production factories to the North and Hanoi.
