More and more local and international textile/garment plants have been established in Vietnam recently, particularly in Hanoi. Hanoi offers lower wages, lower production cost and more vacant land compared to Hochiminh City, and Vietnam has been encouraging the establishment of new factories in Hanoi, leading to North Vietnam’s becoming a new production centre.

Hochiminh City - Vietnam’s business centre, hosting the textile and garment industries’ largest event
The last SaigonTex expo was successfully held 30 March-2 April 2016 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC). The expo attracted 1,061 exhibitors from 24 countries and regions and was our biggest ever! The number of exhibitors and the size of the exhibition grew over 60% and 100% respectively compared to SaigonTex 2015.
