Vietnam is heavily reliant on fabric and material imports
With the strong growth of its' textile and industry, Vietnam's garment exports target has increased to USD 40–50 billion by 2020 (exceeding the previous target of USD 20–25 billion). Although the industry is booming, Vietnam still relies heavily on imported fabric, yarn, cotton and other materials from countries such as China, Taiwan, India, Pakistan, the US, Korea and Singapore.
SaigonTex 2016 – Biggest event ever!
The last SaigonTex expo was successfully held 30 March-2 April 2016 at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC). The expo attracted 1,061 exhibitors from 24 countries and regions and was our biggest ever! The number of exhibitors and the size of the exhibition grew over 60% and 100% respectively compared to SaigonTex 2015.
