Vietnam offers an alternative to the US–China trade conflict – The United States recently announced the increase of import tariffs on Chinese products, which may cover the garment. International garment buyers started placing more orders in Vietnam. Because of this, it is expected that Vietnam’s garment and textile industry will grow at least 10% annually until 2035.
Vietnam relies heavily on fabric and garment accessories import - Vietnam imported USD 15.48 billion of fabric and accessories for garment production in 2017, almost half of its garment export value. This creates a good opportunity for all international fabrics, materials and garment accessories suppliers around the world.
The last SaigonFabric (concurrent with the SaigonTex 2018) attracted over 885 exhibitors from 27 countries / regions. Other than the two main exhibition halls, the expos also dominated an additional two lobbies and seven temporary halls.
