Vietnam is heavily investing in the textile and garment industry
The Vietnam textile and garment industry expects to raise its textile and garment production by 20%, to increase their export value by US$4 billion to $28.3 billion in 2015.  To achieve its export, Vietnam has signed many Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) in recent years with different countries, such as Australia, New Zealand, India, Japan, South Korea, China and a number of different EU members.  In addition, the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement will be signed soon, so Vietnam is investing heavily in textile and garment machinery, to fulfil the increasing number of orders.
    
The last Saigontex, which was being held on 9-12 April, 2015, was the biggest event in Vietnam's textile & garment industry since the 1990s.  The event attracted over 656 exhibitors from 22 countries/regions and over 15,000 visitors attended.
