Vietnam – An Alternative to the US/China Trade Conflict
As the United States may impose a higher import tariff on Chinese products, many local Vietnamese and international companies are increasing their investment in the garment production in Vietnam. Furthermore, Vietnam recently signed the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) that aims to reduce import tariffs between the member countries. All these will stimulate Vietnam’s textile & garment export. Vietnam needs import more fabric and garment accessories in the near future as it relies heavily on import.
North Vietnam & Hanoi: A New production base in Vietnam
